The Galah, also known as the rose-breasted cockatoo, is a widespread and familiar parrot found across mainland Australia, inhabiting open country, woodlands, grasslands, and urban areas. It feeds mainly on seeds from grasses and crops, but also consumes fruits, nuts, roots, and insects, often foraging in large, noisy flocks on the ground.
